Ganesh Chaturthi fever still on at several places in India (in pics)
Bangalore, Sept 12: Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated across the nation on 9th September this year. But the fever is still on. You will still find young boys and girls dancing to the tunes of 'Ganpati Bappa Morya' and shouting Ganpati slogans at the top of their voice.
Ganesh Chaturthi, which is one of the biggest festivals of Maharashtra, has now become a part of the culture of the whole country.
For those who are thinking that there is a decline in the youngsters believing in God, think again. More and more youngsters are participating in this event with every passing year.
Ganesha Pandals are decorated and even competitions like singing and dancing are held. Children enjoy participating and are encouraged with gifts and prizes.
And once it's time to go, everyone bids good bye to the God and gets back to their regular routine.
