Just days ago, Ed Sheeran went viral for performing Urvashi Urvashi from Kadhalan/Premikudu alongside A.R. Rahman. Now, in Bengaluru, he amazed fans by singing his first-ever Telugu song, Chuttamalle, with Indian playback singer Shilpa Rao. Their live duet left the audience in awe, with the crowd enthusiastically singing along.

Later, Ed Sheeran Chuttamalle buzz continued when he shared a behind-the-scenes video of himself learning the Telugu lyrics. Shilpa Rao played the role of his dialect coach, helping him perfect the pronunciation. Expressing his excitement, Sheeran wrote, "Obsessed with @shilparao's voice for the last while, a real privilege to share the stage tonight, and learn a new language!"

Initially, some fans doubted the authenticity of the viral video, but Sheeran's official social media confirmed it, even featuring clips of him rehearsing the song with his team. With his global influence, Chuttamalle is now set to reach an even wider audience.

Ed Sheeran's Mathematics Tour has been drawing massive crowds in India, with performances in Hyderabad and Chennai before arriving in Bengaluru. He will next perform in Shillong and Delhi NCR.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, the British singer-songwriter's live street performance in Bengaluru was abruptly stopped by the local police. Several videos of the police pulling the plug on his jamming session at Church Street went viral. Addressing the situation, Ed Sheeran Chuttamalle singer clarified on Instagram, saying, "We had permission to busk btw, hence us playing in that exact spot, was planned out before, it wasn't just us randomly turning up. All good though. See ya at the show tonight x."
