Kannada Actor Dhruva Sarja's Gym Trainer Attacked In Bengaluru
Famous Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja's gym trainer Prashanth Poojary was attacked by unidentified bikers. The incident occurred on the night of May 26, near the actor's residence on KR Road in Banashankari. The attackers, who arrived on a bike with no number plate, had their faces covered.
Prashanth Poojary, who sustained serious injuries, is currently undergoing treatment at Aksha Hospital. "The victim was assaulted by two people on a motorcycle. A case has been registered under IPC Section 307 (attempt to murder), and the Banashankari police have begun the investigation," said Lokesh B Jagalasar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South).

The attackers reportedly first struck Prashanth's leg with a hockey stick. The gym trainer needed 15 stitches in different parts of his body. He is presently in ICU. Some speculations have arisen regarding the 32-year-old man's love life. Reports suggest he was attacked two times before due to issues related to his love affairs.
Dhruva Sarja condemned the incident and demanded swift action. He said, "As a responsible citizen, all I can say is that an incident like this shouldn't happen. We are hurt by this. Such incidents are wrong and shouldn't happen to anyone irrespective of who the person is."
Dhruva confirmed that Prashanth is doing well and will recover soon. He explained that Prashanth is out of danger now and will be discharged soon. The actor stressed on the issue of public safety. He said, "How can two people move freely with hockey sticks on the streets of Bengaluru? This is a serious concern of public safety which should be addressed immediately."
