Darshan's Wife Vijayalakshmi Summoned By Bengaluru Police Over Actor's Shoes Found At Her Residence

It has been nine days since Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa is in police custody in connection with the murder of Renuka Swamy. As the investigation progresses, the police have issued a notice to Darshan's wife, Vijayalakshmi, after finding Darshan's shoes in her house. Vijayalakshmi was summoned to provide information regarding the shoes and to attend a hearing.

The police, seeking clarity on the discovery of Darshan's shoes at Vijayalakshmi's residence, issued a notice for her to appear for questioning. Vijayalakshmi complied and attended the inquiry, where she provided the requested information. This session took place at the Annapurneswari Nagar police station on Wednesday.

Upon her arrival at the police station, Vijayalakshmi was subjected to further questioning by the police. The shoes, reportedly worn by Darshan at the time of Renukaswamy's murder, were found at Vijayalakshmi's house and were later seized by the authorities. Her statement has been recorded to shed light on how the shoes ended up in her possession.

According to recent update, Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi has brought a gag order from a Bengaluru court to prevent the media from spreading misinformation about the incident.

Actor Darshan was arrested on Tuesday, June 11th, for allegedly kidnapping and murdering Renuka Swamy, who had sent lewd messages to girlfriend Pavithra Gowda. Following his arrest in Mysuru, Darshan was produced before the court and remanded to police custody for six days. On June 16th, after the initial custody period ended, he was remanded for an additional five days. Darshan and his 16 associates have spent a total of nine days in police custody.

Darshan and his gang are set to appear in court tomorrow, where there is a possibility that they may be sent to jail. Vijayalakshmi's recent appearance before the police suggests she may have come to support her husband during this critical time in the investigation.
