Darshan And Team’s Stony Brook Police Inquest Photo Goes Viral Online

Just a day after the Bengaluru police filed a chargesheet against 17 accused, including Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, in the Renukaswamy murder case, a photo of the actor and his team being questioned at Stonny Brook in Rajarajeshwari Nagar has gone viral, sparking widespread speculation on social media.

The image, which shows Darshan and his team being questioned by police, was reportedly taken during an inquiry at Stonny Brook. The viral photo shows Darshan and several members of his team engaged in a discussion with police officers at the location.

According to reports, the team was taken in for a place inquest, but the exact reasons for the police questioning have not been disclosed. The others arrested include Vinay V., owner of restobar Stony Brook, and a close aide of Darshan; Raghavendra, Darshan's fans' association president in Chitradurga; as well as several others.

Police had alleged that Darshan and his gang planned to kidnap Renukaswamy in Stony Brook. This detail was confirmed by statements made during a spot inspection after Darshan's arrest. During the inspection, police recorded Darshan's statement in Stony Brook.

The chargesheet, described as "watertight" by Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda, has implicated 17 accused, including Darshan Thoogudeepa. The chargesheet comprises 3,991 pages across seven volumes and 10 files and includes statements from 231 witnesses, technical evidence, and reports from forensic laboratories.

The chargesheet details that Renukaswamy's kidnapping was carefully planned, with Darshan and his accomplices executing the murder in cold blood. The murder was allegedly planned to punish Renukaswamy for allegedly sending obscene messages to Pavithra Gowda, blaming her for the rift between Darshan and his wife, Vijayalakshmi.

Renukaswamy, a 33-year-old from Chitradurga, worked at a pharmacy and was a devoted fan of Darshan. He was married just last year and his wife is now three months pregnant.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are expected to provide further details on the case in the coming days.
