CCTV Video: Live Wire Falls Near School Bus In Karnataka; Woman And Son Suffer Electric Shock, Critical

A woman named Bhagyashree and her son were taken to the hospital after a shocking incident in Kalburgi, Karnataka. The 34-year-old woman suffered a severe electric shock while helping her son board a school bus. Her son, who has a disability, also sustained injuries but is now safe.

According to the police, an electric cable hanging near the bus stop was responsible for the accident. As the bus arrived, it made contact with the cable. When Bhagyashree touched the bus, she received an electriac shock. Her family has filed a complaint against the electricity department.

Electrocution Incident Caught on Camera

The terrifying event was captured on CCTV footage. It shows Bhagyashree waiting with her son at the bus stop. At 9:21 am, as they approached the arriving bus, she suddenly collapsed. Sparks were visible emanating from her body as she fell forward.

Bystanders attempted to help but retreated due to multiple sparks. One man who tried to assist moved away after witnessing a large spark. Eventually, people urged the driver to move the vehicle forward to rescue Bhagyashree and her son.
Current Condition of Victims

Both Bhagyashree and her son were quickly transported to a hospital following their rescue. While her son's condition is stable and he is out of danger, Bhagyashree remains in critical condition as per reports.
