Big Cat On The Loose: Leopard Spotted Yet Again Near IT Park In Kudlu, Residents Panic

Leopard was spotted yet again near IT Park, Kudlu Gate of Bommanahalli in the city around 2 am on Tuesday. Forest officials were swiftly notified, initiating a search operation that spanned several hours. Unfortunately, the wild animal managed to evade capture within the urban habitat.

For the past three days, anxiety has gripped the residents of Bommanahalli, BTM Layout, and HSR Layout following repeated leopard sightings in the area. In response, the forest department has issued an appeal to the locals, urging them to stay indoors at night or venture out in groups for their safety.

The forest authorities in the Anekal range have strategically placed two cages in an attempt to trap the elusive feline, carefully monitoring its recent movements. Despite these concerted efforts, the wild creature has continued to remain elusive, heightening apprehensions among residents in various parts of the city.

In the village of Channapura, located in Doddaballapura taluk, reports emerged of a leopard preying on cattle, prompting villagers to unite in groups when venturing outside their homes.

Adding to the unfolding events, a newly surfaced CCTV video from a car garage near Kudlu Gate shows two dogs successfully chasing away the leopard in an incident recorded on October 29. Simultaneously, a team of experts from Mysuru has been dispatched to collaborate with the forest department in the ongoing endeavor to trace and capture the elusive leopard.
