The woman's complaint highlights that the metro staff misbehaved by touching his private parts while on the opposite side of the platform. "Around 2:30 pm today, I experienced someone constantly staring at me and making certain gestures. Such an incident would have been worse in broad daylight," she said.

"I questioned him, but he kept staring at me and making gestures. He left after I started making the video," the woman added in her complaint.

In her email to the concerned authorities with the video of the incident, the woman expressed feeling unsafe and demanded action against the staff member.

There have been recent cases of sexual harassment involving female staff members and a metro officer. Two women working as security guards at Rajajinagar and Yeshwantpur metro stations were accused of sexual harassment by the assistant divisional officer of the metro station.

Gajendra P, Assistant Divisional Officer of Sandalwood Soap Factory Metro Station, allegedly sexually harassed the woman. Despite complaining to senior officials of BMRCL about him touching her hand and swearing obscenely, no action was taken. Therefore, with the cooperation of the Karnataka Rajyakarmika Parishad organization, a complaint was lodged at the Subramanya Nagar police station, and an FIR was registered.
