Bengaluru Woman Alleges Husband Is Impotent, Demands ₹2 Crore

A domestic conflict in Bengaluru has escalated into a criminal case after a man accused his wife of harassment, assault, and defamation. The allegations stem from claims of impotency. Following these accusations, the husband filed a police complaint against his wife. This led to a case being registered against her at the Govindarajnagar Police Station.

The couple's marital troubles began shortly after their wedding on May 5, 2025. The 35-year-old complainant and his 29-year-old wife started living together at Saptagiri Palace in Bengaluru. According to the First Information Report (FIR), issues arose three months into their marriage when the wife suspected her husband was impotent due to their unconsummated relationship.

Allegations and Medical Examination

The wife allegedly pressured her husband to undergo a medical examination. Despite this, doctors confirmed that he was physically capable of sexual activity, attributing any delay to mental stress. However, the situation continued to deteriorate between the couple.

On August 17, tensions reached a peak when the man's wife and her relatives allegedly entered his home in Govindarajnagar and assaulted him along with his family members. This incident prompted him to seek police intervention, leading to charges against his wife and her relatives for assault and harassment.

The complainant further alleged that his wife demanded ₹2 crore as compensation for what she perceived as his failure to meet marital obligations. In addition, he claimed in a video message that she is linked with the media wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and appealed for the party's support in resolving the matter.
