Bengaluru Traffic Alert: These Roads Closed for Eid Milad Processions, Full List Of 14 Stretches Affected

Eid Milad festival celebrations are being held across the country today to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. In Bengaluru, large gatherings, prayers, and processions are planned, and the Traffic Police have announced road closures and diversions from 10 AM to 10 PM to manage the movement of vehicles.

Roads Closed for Eid Milad Procession

Traffic restrictions are in force on the following stretches under KG Halli, Pulikeshi Nagar, and Shivajinagar Traffic Police limits:

Nagawara Main Road

Tannery Main Road

Millers Main Road (Haynes Road)

A major religious procession is scheduled to move towards Shivajinagar Kambal Posh Dargah, and hence vehicular traffic is completely banned on these routes.

Diversions and One-Way Conversions

Traffic from Nagawara Junction to Pottery Circle Road is closed.

No entry from Netaji Junction via Pottery Circle towards Tannery Road.

Two-way traffic from Mask Junction to Netaji Junction (via MM Road) has been temporarily converted into one-way.

Parking Restrictions in Bengaluru

Parking has been banned on both sides of the following busy stretches:

Pottery Circle to Nagawara Signal

Govindpura Junction to Govindpura

Siddappa Reddy Junction (HBR Layout) to Narendra Tent Junction

Netaji Road, Haynes Road, MM Road, Mask Road

Coles Road, Saunders Road, St. John's Church Road, and Millers Road

Alternative Routes for Commuters

For vehicles heading from Nagawara Junction to Shivajinagar:

Take a left at Nagawara Junction, right at Hennur Junction Road, left at Kacharakanahalli Road, continue via Chandrika Junction, right at Pulakeshinagar Traffic Police Station Robert Road Junction, cross the Lingarajpuram Flyover, and proceed to Shivajinagar via Haynes Road.

Vehicles can also take a right at Nagawara Junction to reach the city through Hebbal.

The Bengaluru Traffic Police have appealed to commuters to avoid the restricted stretches, follow diversions, and plan their journeys in advance. Citizens have also been urged to cooperate with officers on duty to ensure smooth traffic flow during the Eid Milad processions.
