Bengaluru Traffic Alert: Slow Traffic on Kalamandira, Marathahalli, Bellandur Amid Metro Work

Bengaluru, often referred to as the Silicon City of India, is infamous for its traffic congestion. Residents are increasingly frustrated with the worsening traffic situation, especially in areas where ongoing construction work is causing significant delays. The incessant honking and noise pollution from vehicles have added to their woes.

Currently, multiple infrastructure projects, including metro construction and roadworks, are underway in different parts of the city. As a result, traffic congestion has become a major issue in several areas. In response, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has issued a traffic advisory to inform commuters about the affected routes.

Metro Work on Salem Outer Ring Road: The construction work on the railway bridge along Salem Outer Ring Road is affecting traffic movement from Mahadevapura to Marathahalli and vice versa. Authorities have warned that vehicles may experience delays in this corridor.

Metro Work in Front of Marathahalli Police Station: Due to ongoing metro work, traffic from Kadubeesanahalli towards Karthik Nagar is moving very slowly, causing further inconvenience to daily commuters.

Roadwork Near Sakra Hospital: BWSSB and BBMP have undertaken construction work on Sakra Hospital Road, leading to traffic restrictions from Bellandur Kodi towards Sakra Hospital. Commuters are advised to use alternate routes.

Authorities Urge Public Cooperation

The Bengaluru Traffic Police has requested citizens to cooperate and stay updated on traffic advisories before planning their travel. Commuters are encouraged to use public transport or plan their trips during non-peak hours to avoid prolonged delays.
