Bengaluru Traffic Alert: Metro Construction Work On ORR Triggers Route Diversions

The Bengaluru Police issued a traffic advisory in response to ongoing metro construction at the Outer Ring Road near the Salem Railway Bridge. They noted that traffic will be slow both from Mahadevpur towards Marathahalli and from Marathahalli back to Mahadevpur.

Another advisory was released due to the BBMP's road widening project at Panathur Railway Bridge S Cross, indicating that traffic in that area will also be slow. The police urged commuters to cooperate and adjust their travel plans as necessary.

The advisory highlighted that traffic movement is significantly delayed on Kodandarama Temple Road in Doddanekundi village due to ongoing civil works. Commuters are advised to avoid this route and seek alternative paths.

Furthermore, the police stated that vehicle movement is restricted from Bellandur Kodi towards Sakra Hospital, with traffic in that area expected to move slowly.

The construction is being conducted by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). In an official announcement, HAL Airport Traffic BTP has requested commuters to plan their journeys accordingly.

Commuters heading to Doddanekundi village (Kodandarama Temple Road) should be aware of slow traffic due to civil work in progress. They are advised to consider detours.
