Police Appeal:

The Chamarajpet Traffic Police have requested public cooperation to manage the Bakrid prayer gatherings and maintain traffic flow during peak hours.

"We ask all citizens to follow the traffic diversions and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience during Bakrid celebrations," said an official from Chamarajpet Traffic Police Station in a statement.

Bakrid 2025, also known as Eid al-Adha, is one of the most important festivals in Islam. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. The day is marked by prayers, community gatherings, and the ritual sacrifice of animals.
