Bengaluru Traffic Alert: Benniganahalli to Kasturi Nagar Road Closed for 3 Months
Bengaluru Traffic Alert: The Railway Department has begun bridge construction work along the railway parallel road from Benniganahalli to Kasturinagar, falling under the KR Puram Traffic Police Station. Due to this, traffic movement on the stretch has been banned for 90 days, starting today, June 14.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic East), Sahil Bagla, issued a traffic advisory, stating that the diversion is necessary for public safety and smooth execution of the work.

What's Closed?
All types of vehicles are restricted from using Coco Cola Godown Road, which connects Benniganahalli (Sadanandanagar Bridge side) to Old Madras Road.
Alternate Routes for Commuters
Heading to Kasturinagar: Use the DOT Bypass Hebbal from the Old Madras Road side via Benniganahalli Railway Bridge.
Heading to Old Madras Road from Kasturinagar: Travel via Sadanandanagar and take the NGEF signal to reach Old Madras Road.
Commuters are urged to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with traffic authorities during the construction period.
Traffic Connection Day' Today
To address public concerns and gather feedback, a 'Traffic Connection Day' event is being held at KR Puram Traffic Police Station today (Saturday, June 14) at 11 AM. Residents can share complaints, suggestions, and solutions related to traffic issues within the station limits.
