Bengaluru Techie Suicide Case: ‘Missing’ Child Tracked Down To Haryana Hostel By Cops
A residential school in Faridabad, Haryana, has provided information to Bengaluru police about the missing child of deceased techie Atul Subhash. The school confirmed that the child is currently residing in the hostel during winter break.
Atul Subhash's parents have filed a petition in the Supreme Court, seeking custody of their grandson, expressing concerns for his safety after he was reported missing.

The school clarified that since winter vacations are ongoing, no one came to take the boy home. Special arrangements have been made for him to stay in the hostel under the school's care during this period.
Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma, Principal of Satyug Darshan Vidyalaya in Faridabad, sent a letter to the Marathahalli police in response to their inquiry. The letter confirmed that Atul's four-year-old son is a bonafide student at the school.
IANS has obtained the school's response to the police's query regarding the whereabouts of Atul Subhash and Nikita Singhania's child. The principal provided documents related to the child's admission, including the admission form with specific details.
The letter revealed that the boy's mother, Nikita Singhania, a technical team leader, had marked herself as the sole guardian of the child, removing the section for father's details.
According to the documents, the child is enrolled in Grade Nursery at the school, and Nikita Singhania personally completed the admission process.
Atul Subhash had tragically committed suicide, allegedly due to his wife's demand for a Rs 3 crore divorce settlement. An FIR was filed against the accused under Sections 108 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) on December 9.
Bikas Kumar, Atul's brother, filed a complaint with the Marathahalli police, accusing the family of abetment to suicide. Bikas alleged that false cases were lodged against Atul, who was pressured to either pay Rs 3 crore or take his own life.
Nikita's family asserts that Atul requested a substantial dowry, which they believe played a role in her father's death.
Pavan Kumar Modi, Atul Subhash's father, expressed concern about his grandson's safety. "My grandson was like an ATM to her. She got money under the pretext of caring for him. She kept asking for increasing amounts, and that's why we approached the Supreme Court for his custody. He is safe with us," he stated.
In a separate development, the Karnataka High Court rejected Nikita Singhania's plea to quash the FIR related to Atul Subhash's suicide.
