Bengaluru shame: 4-year-old girl sexually assaulted by PT teacher

Bengaluru, Nov 18: In yet another case of sexual assault inside a school, a 4-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted inside her school premises near Parapanna Agrahara, southeast Bengaluru. Her Physical education teacher had sexually abused her.

"Parents of the child came to know of this incident when their daughter complained them of pain in her private parts, just after returning home from school in afternoon on Monday, Nov 16", a senior police officer told a news agency.

After knowing their daughter's ordeal, her parents rushed her to St John's Hospital and when medical report came, they approached police at night to file a complaint against the accused.

After receiving girl's statement, the police said "the PT teacher has sexually assaulted her."

Following the complaint, Bengaluru city police arrested the Physical education teacher, 25-year-old Romeo, who hails from Manipur. [3-yr-old girl sexually assaulted in school campus in Bengaluru]

During the investigation, the school authorities confirmed that Romeo was hired from an agency and was working there since last 4 years.

The Police officer said, "these agencies don't have much background details of the candidate. Three teachers are also hired from the same agency by the school."

In August this year, similar incident had occurred at a school in Indiranagar, where a 3-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by watchman.
