Bengaluru Road Rage Viral Video: 26-Year-Old Drunk Bouncer Arrested For Attacking Family With Child In Car
The Bellandur police have apprehended a 26-year-old bouncer for allegedly causing a commotion and damaging the car of a software engineer during a road rage incident on Sarjapur Main Road on the night of August 19.
Soumyashankar, 36, was driving home with his wife and nine-month-old child after a weekend trip when he had to brake suddenly due to a rough patch on the road. Naveen Reddy, a scooterist traveling behind him, collided with the car and began yelling at Soumyashankar for the abrupt stop.

An argument broke out, leading Reddy to stop his scooter and allegedly use a wiper blade and a stone to smash the car's windshield in an attempt to confront Soumyashankar. Despite Soumyashankar's pleas about the baby in the car, Reddy continued to shout and hurl abuses, as shown in a video of the incident.
Nearby passers-by notified the police, who arrived and arrested Reddy. He has been charged under Sections 126 (wrongful restraint), 324 (mischief), 351 (criminal intimidation), and 352 (intentional insult to provoke a breach of peace) of the BNS.
Reddy, a bouncer at a local pub and a resident of Bellandur, was returning home from work at the time, according to the police.
