Bengaluru Power Cut Today: Check List Of Areas Likely To Face Electricity Supply Disruption, Time

Residents of Bengaluru should prepare for a power outage on Friday, January 24. The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced that electricity will be disrupted in various areas due to maintenance work. The outage is scheduled from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, lasting approximately 5.5 hours. Those living in the affected regions are advised to plan their activities accordingly.

The BESCOM has requested residents in the impacted zones to remain patient and cooperate during this essential maintenance period. They assured that power will be restored promptly once the work concludes. The Executive Engineer at Chandapura Division emphasised efforts to minimise disruption and ensure efficient completion of the tasks.

Bengaluru Power Cut: Timing and Details

The power cut is set to commence at 10 AM and end by 3 PM, affecting several localities. During this period, the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) will conduct stringing of IFTIS conductors between towers T No-12 and T No-11 at the Sarjapura Main Substation (220/66/11 KV).

Specific areas expected to experience outages include parts of:

• Sompura Gp
• Narasipuara Gp Limits
• Honnenahalli Gp Limits
• Shivagange Gp Limits

Residents in these areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to manage without electricity during the specified hours.

BESCOM's statement highlighted the importance of this maintenance work for improving service reliability. They urged consumers to note that power supply will resume immediately after completing the required tasks.
