Bengaluru Power Cut On September 22: Malleswaram, Yeshwantpur And Peenya Areas To Brace For Power Outage
Residents in several areas of Bengaluru, including Malleswaram, Yeshwantpur, and Peenya, will experience power outages on Sunday, September 22, due to essential maintenance work being conducted by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM).

BESCOM issued a notice explaining that maintenance activities will take place at the 220/66/11 KV SRS Peenya substation. Specifically, Bank-2 and its feeders will undergo quarterly maintenance from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. As a result, there will be power disruptions in various localities connected to this substation.

Residents of the following areas in and around Peenya can expect variations in power supply:

- 4th Block, 2nd Block
- MEI Factory
- Rajagopal Nagar
- Kasturi Estate

In addition to Peenya, BESCOM has also scheduled annual maintenance work at the 66/11 KV IISC substation. The work will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on September 22, affecting power supply in the following areas:
