The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced that Bengaluru will experience a scheduled power cut on September 14, 2025, as part of its quarterly maintenance drive. The outage is planned between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM and is aimed at upgrading infrastructure to ensure a more reliable electricity supply for residents.

Hennur

Thimmasandra

Residents are advised to plan ahead, charge essential devices, and limit the use of high-power appliances during the outage window.The impact will not be limited to Bengaluru alone.

In Tumakuru district, many towns and villages will also face interruptions on September 13 and 14. Places like Nittur, Gubbi, Bidre, Doddaguni, Kadaba, Kallur, Ungra, Somalapur, South-Western Railway Line, Bellavi, Heggere, Doddasarangi, Kor, Beladhara, Urdigara, and regions covered by the C.T. Kere Substation will be affected. BESCOM has urged residents in these areas to take precautions and make arrangements to maintain essential services.
