Bengaluru Police detains 8 for 'plotting to murder' singer Lucky Ali
Bengaluru, Dec 3: The Bengaluru Police on Monday detained eight people outside the farmhouse of singer Lucky Ali on the city outskirts. The action was taken after the singer alleged that he received threats related to a dispute with his relatives over a farmhouse near Yelahanka and filed a police complaint. Ali had also approached the police seeking protection.
The police later picked Rowdy Mahesh and his associates and they were being interrogated.

The police said the security guard of the farmhouse saw a group of people behaving suspiciously outside and informed the police. The police on arrival saw that the eight men were armed. They were believed to be waiting for Ali to step outside his house.
One in the group even claimed that a man called Asif Ali hired them to eliminate Lucky Ali.

Fifty-six-year-old Lucky Ali, son of noted Bollywood actor Mehmood, is a resident of Bengaluru for several decades now. He said elements were trying to scare him but he was determined to save his father's property.
