Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway: You Can’t Skip Tolls Anymore As Bidadi Exit Closed
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has blocked the exit at Bidadi on the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway to prevent motorists from avoiding toll payment at the Sheshagirihalli toll plaza. While the exit to the service road has been closed, entry to the highway remains open.

Earlier, motorists traveling from Mysuru would take the Bidadi exit and use the service road to reach Bengaluru, bypassing the second toll fee. To curb this practice, NHAI has now sealed the exit, ensuring all vehicles pass through the toll plaza.
However, the move has sparked backlash from motorists, who argue that the exit closure was done without prior notice and lacks proper signages.
Commuters have also raised concerns over the high toll fee of ₹220 for a single trip between Ramanagara and Bengaluru, questioning the justification for such charges.
With no official response from the authorities yet, frustrated commuters continue to express their discontent over the toll collection system and the sudden exit closure.
