Bengaluru Man Flashes at Woman, Assaults Seven People Including His Mother After Confrontation
In a disturbing incident on April 13, a Bengaluru man, identified as Karthik, allegedly flashed his private parts at a homemaker and went on to assault seven people, including her husband and his own mother. The Shivajinagar police have registered a case and launched a manhunt for the accused.
According to police, the incident occurred when Karthik exposed himself to the woman while she was walking on the second floor of her home. The accused, who lives across from the victim's residence, also made vulgar gestures, signaling sexual intent.

Shocked by Karthik's behavior, the woman immediately raised an alarm and contacted her husband. Enraged, Karthik attacked the husband. When neighbors rushed to intervene, he escalated the violence, using hollow blocks, flower pots, and windowpanes to assault them. Karthik even attacked his mother when she tried to stop him.
Seven people were injured in the attack, with three sustaining serious injuries and currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit. Preliminary investigations revealed that Karthik is a repeat offender, with a history of misbehaving with women in the neighborhood.
Earlier this year, a viral video surfaced showing two young women being harassed by a man in the early hours on a deserted street. The man was seen pushing one woman aside and sexually harassing the other before fleeing. The shaken women briefly gathered themselves before quickly leaving the scene.
Following the investigation, Karnataka Police arrested another accused, Santosh Daniel, a 26-year-old man from a Kerala village, in connection with a similar incident.
