Bengaluru: Lady, daughter-in-law murdered in Vasanth Nagar

Bengaluru, Sept 26: A lady and her daughter-in-law were murdered in Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru on Monday morning.

Santhoshi Bhai aged 60 and her daughter in law, Latha were found murdered at thier home in Vasanth Nagar and police suspect that the incident may have taken place between 10 and 11 am on Monday.

Latha's daughter who returned from school spotted the dead bodies and informed the neighbours about the same. The police say that it does not appear to be a murder for gain. There was no forceful entry into the house and neither are there any valuables missing, the police say.

The incident occurred after Latha's husband left home. According to the police he left home at around 10 am on Monday. His father runs a business and was also out of the house, the police also say.

The dog squad and several police men are at the spot. The bodies will be taken for postmortem. Investigations are underway.
