Bengaluru IT raids fallout, ACB registers suo moto case
Both officials were earlier suspended by the Karnataka government after Income Tax sleuths found unaccounted wealth worth Rs 152 crore in their possession.
The anti-corruption bureau in Bengaluru registered a case against two government officials under the prevention of corruption act. Both officers and their contractors were raided by the Income tax officials earlier which had unearthed unaccounted property worth Rs 152 crore.

"We received information from the government on what was found during the Income Tax raids and we have registered a case against both government officials. They have been booked under the prevention of corruption act 13(1)(A) and (1)(E)", said M A Saleem, IGP, ACB.

Both officials were earlier suspended by the Karnataka government after Income Tax sleuths found unaccounted wealth worth Rs 152 crore in their possession.
