Bengaluru Flyover Accident: 2 Killed In Horrific Chain Collision Involving BMTC Bus, Truck And Car
Two drivers lost their lives in a tragic accident on Bengaluru's Airport Road flyover late Monday night, according to police. The collision, which occurred between 11:20 pm and 11:25 pm near Legacy Cirocco apartments in Jakkur, involved a cement lorry, a Toyota Innova, and a BMTC Volvo bus.
As per the DCP Traffic Northeast, the incident began when the cement lorry and Toyota Innova collided on the flyover. Both drivers then pulled over to the right side of the road to argue, setting the stage for further chaos.

A BMTC Volvo bus, traveling at high speed towards the airport, crashed into the stationary lorry, pushing it forward and striking the two drivers who were standing in front of it.
DCP Traffic Northeast said, "Two people died in a road accident on the Airport Road flyover in Bengaluru. A cement lorry collided with a car, and when the drivers stopped on the right side to argue, a speeding BMTC Volvo bus hit the lorry. Yelahanka traffic police have registered the case."
Kuldeep Kumar, 42, the lorry driver, was declared dead at the scene, while the Innova driver, 40-year-old Jagadish, was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Yelahanka traffic police have classified the accident as a case of driver negligence, not a chain collision.
