Bengaluru Crime: Police Discovers A Girl's Naked Dead Body In South Bangalore

A piece of shocking and terrifying news was reported from Bengaluru, where police found a girl's naked body in a flat located in Chandapura, South Bengaluru. According to the reports, residents informed the police about a strong pungent smell, which drew everyone's attention. Later, police broke the doors and discovered a dead body lying in the flat along with some drugs and a syringe. The deceased originally belonged to West Bengal and was new to this place.

The owner of the building Sangeth Gupta, who lives on the ground floor in the same building, told police that she had rented out a single-bedroom flat to a man named Safan Kumar hailing from Odisha. He had paid her Rs 9,800 as rent and Rs 60,000 as a security deposit.

However, Safan did not live here despite paying the rent and advance. But suddenly Safan reappeared on January 10 and told the land owner that he would now live here along with his wife.

On February 28, the owner saw another man, who was around 40 years of age, with the same woman. When asked about the unknown person, Safan said the third person was his wife's father, adding that they would soon vacate the flat.

Shedding light on the incident, Bengaluru District Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baldandi said, the owner and neighbors had reported a foul smell coming from the apartment, which was locked from the inside. When Police entered the flat by breaking its door, it was found that a woman's highly decomposed body covered in a blanket was lying on the bed.

The official added that a white powder likely to be a synthetic drug, and a syringe were recovered next to the dead body. The corpse has been sent for autopsy after registering a case and an investigation is underway.

Phones of Safan and the agent who had referred the tenant are switched off.
