Bengaluru Couple In Koramangala Faces Persistent Disturbances, Threats Despite Police Complaints

A couple living in Bengaluru's Koramangala 6th Block is enduring severe disruptions to their peace due to recurring noise disturbances from loud crackers. These disturbances occur almost every night, starting in the evening and continuing into the late hours, frequently interrupting their sleep.

The tweet, which quickly went viral, highlighted their ongoing struggle despite numerous complaints to the local police.

The couple has made multiple complaints to the local police over the years, yet the disturbances persist. The problem is exacerbated by the presence of influential individuals in the area, which appears to impede effective police action.

On September 4, 2024, the couple was again jolted awake at midnight by a barrage of rockets exploding over their house. The husband, recently discharged from the hospital and on bed rest due to medical issues, is unable to address the situation himself. His wife, deeply concerned for his health, went out to investigate the noise and called for police assistance.

While confronting the individuals responsible for the noise, the wife was threatened and nearly attacked by neighbors celebrating a birthday on the road at 12:30 AM. Despite the arrival of the police, no effective action was taken against the influential individuals involved. The neighbors even recorded videos of the wife and their car, further intimidating her.
