Bengaluru College Student Gang-Raped Multiple Times By Social Media Dance Teacher, 2 Others
The Bengaluru Police on Tuesday arrested three individuals, including a dance teacher, on charges of gang-raping a college student within the Kodigehalli police station limits.
The arrested persons were identified as Andy George, who worked as a dance teacher in a private school, along with Santhosh and Shashi.

According to the police, the incident began when Andy befriended the college student through social media. He then took advantage of their relationship and recorded their private moments. He later started using this footage to threaten and blackmail her.
Feeling suspicious and fearful of Andy, the girl distanced herself from him. However, he continued to exploit the situation by blackmailing her with the threat of sharing their private pictures, leading to further acts of rape against the victim. Andy also invited his friends to his home, where they all participated in assaulting and raping the victim.
The accused even went to the extent of posting the victim's pictures and videos on social media to further torment her. Despite the fear, the courageous victim eventually gathered strength and decided to report the heinous acts to the police.
Upon receiving the complaint, the police swiftly acted and apprehended the accused persons. During the investigation, the police seized their mobile phones and a pen drive, which may contain incriminating evidence.
Given the nature of the crime and the possibility of similar cases, the police are looking into the potential involvement of the accused, especially the prime suspect Andy, in other incidents and have launched a thorough investigation.
