Bengaluru CEO Suchana Seth To Remain In Police Custody For Extra 5 Days In Goa
The Panaji Children's Court in Goa extended the police custody of the accused Suchana Seth, the CEO of the Bengaluru-based artificial intelligence start-up Mindful AI Lab, for an additional 5 days. She was to be produced again before the court on January 19. Seth was accused of murdering her four-year-old son in Goa.

Seth was produced before Goa Children's Court after her initial remand of six days expired. The Calangute Police sought an extension of her custody, citing the ongoing investigation.
Seth, aged 39, was arrested on January 8 in Chitradurga, Karnataka, while traveling in a taxi with her son's body concealed in a bag, later transported to Goa. A court in Mapusa town had initially remanded her in police custody for six days.
The accusation against her involves the murder of her child in a service apartment located in Candolim, Goa. A senior police officer disclosed on Monday that Seth, the accused, has not been cooperating with investigators. "We requested an extension of her custody to allow more time for interrogation. Additionally, we need to carry out other formalities, such as obtaining her DNA sample," he stated. The statement recording from Seth's husband, Venkat Raman, has concluded, he further added.
