Bengaluru CEO Suchana Seth Hid Son's Body In Bag Filled With Toys

Suchana Seth, the Bengaluru woman detained for allegedly killing her four-year-old son at a service apartment in Goa, initially attempted to conceal her son's body while the police checked her bag.

The bag initially contained toys and clothes on the top layer, as informed by the police to India Today TV. Subsequently, the officials requested Suchana to reveal the entire content of the bag. When one of the officers removed the layer of clothes, the body of the boy was discovered.

When questioned about the body, Suchana Seth stated that it was her son's body.

Reportedly, Suchana Seth is uncooperative with the police during the investigation. According to law enforcement, she frequently changes her statement, causing delays in the proceedings. The police have gathered various pieces of evidence from the hotel room where she stayed for two days in north Goa. They plan to conduct an inquest at the crime scene on Friday.

While in Goa Police custody on charges of killing her son, Suchana has maintained her innocence during the probe. However, the police claim to have found several pieces of evidence against her and aim to complete the necessary formalities promptly.

Goa DGP Jaspal Singh commended the efforts of the Goa Police in the case, stating that the team would confront the accused with the evidence. He mentioned, "The investigation is in the initial stage. The investigators have said that the accused is not cooperating in the probe. We will confront her with evidence found in the case to find the motive for the crime."

Following three days of questioning Suchana, the police plan to take her to the hotel room where the alleged murder occurred to recreate the crime scene. The hotel staff has been asked to be present to provide statements in front of the accused.

Meanwhile, a handwritten note on a tissue paper with eyeliner has reportedly been discovered, in which Suchana wrote about her strained relationship with her husband and the custody battle over their son. The exact content of the note is yet to be revealed, and it has been sent to a forensic lab for testing.

Suchana's husband, Venkataramana, is expected to visit Goa on Saturday to participate in the probe and record his statement. The police suspect that Suchana was upset with a court order allegedly permitting her husband to meet Chinmay every Sunday. The couple had filed for divorce in 2022 after 12 years of marriage.
