Bengaluru Bus Conductor Caught Sitting On Ladies' Seat Armrest In Viral Video: Misconduct Or Misunderstanding?

A viral video showing a BMTC bus conductor sitting on the armrest of a women's seat has sparked debate online, dividing opinions. In the video, the conductor is seen casually sitting beside a young woman, which prompted mixed reactions from netizens.

A section of netizens argued that the conductor should have chosen a different seat, as the woman appeared uncomfortable. One Instagram user demanded action, stating, "I think the conductor's seat should be at the front. Please look into the matter, as there is a lack of respect for women due to this behavior."

Another user added, "At least he could have used a seat in the men's section."

A third person, expressing frustration, commented, "These KST conductors are like goons. The girl seems slightly uncomfortable. This is another display of local culture, and they blame North Indians for ruining it!"

However, some defended the conductor, claiming there was no ill intent. "Guys, I actually know the lady, the conductor is her father," one user explained. Another added, "Chill, it's not a big deal. People commute daily and are often friendly with conductors. She seems okay with it, as seen in the video."

Others criticized the overreaction, with one user saying, "When the girl has no issue, why make it seem like one? The man was just tired, and if she was uncomfortable or he misbehaved, that would be different."

Finally, one user targeted the person who filmed the video, asking, "Before recording it like James Cameron, did you even talk to them? What did they say?"

The video continues to garner attention, raising questions about privacy, public behavior, and the fine line between discomfort and harmless interaction.
