As Prajwal Revanna Plays Hide-And-Seek, SIT Digs Into His Bank Accounts

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is now probing the financial aspects of suspended Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, a central figure in a controversial case involving an obscene video and allegations of sexual assault, who is reportedly missing and believed to be in Germany.

Reports indicate that authorities have obtained information regarding all bank accounts associated with Prajwal Revanna and are in the process of freezing these accounts. According to SIT sources, Prajwal had 7 bank accounts, and officials have access to complete details of these accounts.

As Prajwal remains elusive for 21 days, authorities are intensifying efforts to understand the background of this sequence of events.

Suspended Janata Dal (Secular) MP Prajwal Revanna, who left India on April 26, has been accused of allegedly sexually assaulting several women. The Hassan MP is currently said to be holed up in Germany, evading authorities. In an attempt to facilitate his return, an Interpol Blue Corner Notice has been issued against him.

Videos allegedly involving obscene content of several women, reportedly shot by the MP himself, were shared online from April 21, causing significant embarrassment for the BJP-JD(S) coalition in the state.

Complaints have been filed by those involved and affected families, leading to investigations based on their statements. According to the complainants, they were subjected to harassment within his residence. As the case garners attention, authorities have issued a blue corner notice against Prajwal, who had reportedly fled abroad.
