Anand Guruji Blackmailed: Astrologer Threatened by YouTuber Divya Vasanth Over Alleged Objectionable Video

Renowned astrologer Anand Guruji, known for appearing daily on a private news channel to predict people's future and offer solutions to their problems, has allegedly been blackmailed and threatened with death by Youtuber.

Following this, Anand Guruji has filed a complaint at the Chikkajala Police Station in Bengaluru. Based on his complaint, the police have registered an FIR against two individuals - A1 Krishnamurthy and A2 Divya Vasanth (Youtuber).

According to Anand Guruji, the accused have been blackmailing him daily, claiming to possess an objectionable video and demanding money in return.

They have also defamed Anand Guruji across multiple YouTube channels. He specifically alleged that his character was maligned on channels named 'Vishwakarma' and 'Samrat'. In connection with the case,

Despite obtaining a court stay order regarding the said video and a land purchase dispute, Anand Guruji alleges that threats and harassment have continued.

The complaint further states that the accused blocked Anand Guruji's car and verbally abused him using offensive language, demanding money and issuing life threats.

Ironically, Youtuber and Kannada news presenter Divya Vasanth was previously arrested in a honeytrap case. She allegedly conducted a sting operation at a beauty parlour in Indiranagar and then blackmailed the owner, demanding ₹15 lakh. She also threatened to telecast the video on a local news channel if the owner did not pay. However, the owner claimed he had only ₹1 lakh, while Divya insisted on at least ₹8 lakh to delete the video.

On July 1, after the parlour owner filed a complaint, Divya was arrested in Kerala and later brought back to Bengaluru by the police.
