In his complaint, the versatile actor claimed that Vikram TV had posted a video on YouTube containing inflammatory speeches that posed a danger to his life.

One excerpt from the video mentioned in Raj's complaint reads: "Stalin and Prakash Raj must be finished? What must Hindus do? Your blood does not boil?"

Additionally, Prakash Raj asserted that the video depicted him and his family members in a negative light, further inciting people. He maintained that the video amounted to a life-threatening communication directed at him and his family, and therefore, he urged authorities to take action against the owner of the YouTube channel and others involved.

As of now, the video has garnered over 89,000 views. The alleged threats emerged following the actor's comments about Sanatana Dharma.

An FIR has been registered under IPC sections 506 (pertaining to criminal intimidation), 504 (concerning intentional insults leading to provocation), and 505(2) (relating to the sale of printed or engraved material containing defamatory content).

Prakash Raj's Statements on Sanatana Dharma:

The actor had previously remarked that individuals who aggressively promote Sanatana Dharma are not genuine Hindus.

He stated, "People speaking aggressively on Sanatana Dharma and Hindutva are not Hindus. They are contractors of Hindutva. Such statements are made for political motives. People must discern the underlying intentions behind such statements, and I hope they will," during an address to writers and artists in Kalaburagi.

Prakash Raj's comments came in response to Tamil Nadu Minister Udayanidhi Stalin's comparison of Sanatana Dharma to diseases like malaria and dengue.
