76-Year-Old Retired School Teacher Dies After Dogs Attack Her Near Air Force Station In Bengaluru
A 76-year-old woman was fatally attacked by nearly a dozen stray dogs during her morning walk in Jalahalli, Bengaluru, on August 28.
The attack happened around 6:30 a.m. at the air force playground in Air Force East 7th Residential Camp, Jalahalli. The victim, Raj Dulari Sinha, was a retired teacher and local resident, and the mother-in-law of an airman, according to sources.

While on her walk, a pack of stray dogs attacked her, inflicting multiple severe injuries. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to her injuries on the way and was declared "brought dead" upon arrival.
A passer-by, Hariskrishnan, witnessed the attack and shared the incident on social media. He described shouting for help when he saw the woman being mauled and how another man eventually arrived to chase the dogs away. Hariskrishnan expressed his guilt, saying, "I couldn't help her because of the wall." He tagged the Indian Air Force and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in his post on X.
Senior police and civic officials arrived at the scene, and Gangammanagudi police have registered an unnatural death report.
