BIAL spokesperson said, "We have filed a case against Kingfisher Airlines on October 21 regarding non-payment of user development fee and passenger service fee." The spokesperson declined to divulge any further details relating to the case. However, sources say the case is relating to payment of user development and passenger service fee collected by the airlines from its passengers between 2008-12 to BIAL amounting to about Rs 40 crore. UB group VP (Corporate Communications) Prakash Mirpuri in a statement said: "We are not aware and neither have we been served any papers. It is therefore impossible to respond on a matter we are completely unaware of." PTI

Bangalore, Oct 24: Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) has filed case in a Magisterial Court against Vijay Mallya-led Kingfisher airlines for non-payment of user development and passenger service fees.
