, spoke to activist-author Madhu Kishwar on NewsX channel whereby he revealed many unknown stories of his journey as the CM of Gujarat.

Modi spoke about his becoming the chief minister of Gujarat in October 2001 and how he made a mark as an administrator in the state. Modi was completely new to electoral politics when he replaced Keshubhai Patel and told Kishwar about his experience as the CM of Gujarat. He also spoke about how media and the opposition took him on over the years and that he had gone to take oath as the Gujarat chief minister in a friend's Maruti 800.
