in the December 16 gang-rape of a paramedical student on a moving bus in New Delhi and reserved its

The six accused in the gang-rape case- Ram Singh, Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Pawan Gupta, Mukesh and a juvenile, gang-raped the girl in a moving bus in which she was travelling with her male friend December 16, who was also brutally attacked with the iron rod.

The victim later succumbed in a Singapore hospital where she had been taken for further treatment for her injuries.

Earlier on Sept 1, the minor was tried under the Juvenile Justice Act and was convicted on charges of murder and gang-rape and sent him to a correctional home for three years.
