Asaram's lawyers dub FIR as 'vague', 'concocted'

"If you see the medical report of the girl, you will know that she was not at all assaulted. There is not even a scratch on her body. All allegations against Asaram Bapu are false and baseless," said Ishkaran Bhandari, Asaram's counsel outside his ashram on Khandwa Road at Indore.
Rahul Vijaywargia, another of Asaram's lawyer further insists that there is a conspiracy going on, which is proved by the 'purposeful' delay in the registration of FIR against Asaram.
"This shows there is a conspiracy behind filing of the FIR. Even though the investigation in the case is yet to begin, the FIR itself appears vague," he further added.
Asaram Bapu is alleged to have sexually assaulted a 16-year old girl studying in his ashram. An FIR was lodged against him by the Jodhpur police and repeated summons were sent. Despite that, he missed the deadline stating that he was not doing well. He was then arrested from his Indore Ashram.
