Asaram taken to undisclosed location in Jodhpur; Supporters protest

Jodhpur, Sep 1: Police is seeking seven-day custody as

's supporters rally in state. Asaram landed in Jodhpur amidst tight police security.

Around 50 supporters of Asaram Bapu have assembled at the Delhi airport.

Police sources revealed that they will be taking Asaram to an undisclosed location for questioning. They have also requested for a seven-day custody to take him to the scene of the alleged crime to carry out further investigations.

Asaram's supporters from outside Jodhpur will also be barred from entering the city.

Asaram was produced before a Jodhpur court upon arrival, before being taken to the secret location for further questioning.

Meanwhile the father of the 16-year-old girl who has alleged sexual assault has said that he has been receiving death threats from supporters of Asaram Bapu but has vowed to pursue his fight for justice, reported Firstpost.

Around 50 supporters of Asaram Bapu have assembled at the Delhi airport in support of the godman. Supporters have also blocked local trains at the Ulhasnagar station in Mumbai.
