Tamil Nadu: Major fire at cracker factory in Sivakasi

Chennai, Aug 22: Four major explosions have reportedly caused fire at a cracker factory in Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district in Tamil Nadu on Thursday.

According to reports, four explosions ripped through the cracker factory.

No injuries or casualties have been reported yet.

Meanwhile, fire extinguishers have rushed to the spot.

The cause of the explosions has not been ascertained yet.

Located 500 kms from South Chennai, Sivakasi is the biggest manufacturer of crackers in India.
