Mumbai: Fire breaks out at building near Nariman Point
Mumbai, Aug 22: A fire broke out on the 15th floor of a building in south Mumbai near Nariman Point highrise on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, the fire that lasted for nearly 45 minutes destroyed the entire office in the 17-storey Earnest House building at NCPA Marg.
However, by late night, it was extinguished, without anyone getting injured.

"The fire broke out on the 15th floor of Earnest House at around 8.30 PM," municipal corporation's disaster control centre official said.
Eight fire engines and six water tenders were rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, he said.
An official said that the 16th and 17th floors of the building were residential while other 15 floors are commercial.
The cause of the fire was not known yet, the official added.
