Dogs chew newborn baby girl's dead body in Maharashtra
Yavatmal, Aug 7: Born and left abandoned, a newborn baby girl's dead body was chewed by stray dogs, inside the government medical college in Yavatmal district of north Maharashtra.
According to a report, the hospital authorities have denied that the girl was born in their hospital.
A senior doctor said that may be the girl was born in other hospital or was from another area and no one noticed how the infant was brought there.
The two-day old infant was noticed by local Shiv Sena workers when they shooed away dogs from chewing her. Then, they handed her mutilated body to the hospital authorities.
The police has registered a case and they are searching for infant's parents and who deserted her at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the doctors said that they are treating another abandoned newborn girl, who is recovering.
