Sandalwood heartthrob dead: RIP Hemanth Kumar

A heartthrob for the young generation, he shot to fame after his Kannada film 'Nenapinangala'. "He was a lively person and was very enthusiastic about his work," said Dhanuchandra Mavinakunte, his director in 'Nenapinangala'.
"It pains me to say that he is no more. He was like a younger brother to me, being a year junior in Kongadiyappa college where we both studied," he further added.
Hemanth Kumar was a resident of Doddaballapur, but used to stay in Sahakaranagar. He starred opposite Supritha in 'Nenapinangala', which also casted actors Ramesh Bhat, Karibasavaiah, and Sudha Belawadi. Its a romantic story, based on a real life incident where the girl betrays her lover.
He had been signed for another film. "He had finalized the script last Sunday only. The name of the film, however, had not been decided," said Dhanuchandra.
