Brawl Row: How Ram Charan could have spoilt techies’ lives

Defending his bodyguards and blaming the two software engineers - Phaneesh and Kalyan, the 28-year-old actor claimed he could have spoilt lives of the two techies after filing complaint against them. However, he restrained himself from registering case against them citing their whopping careers in IT field, asserted Ram Charan.
Speaking to media, Ram Charan was quoted as saying, "They misbehaved with me and went to police station to lodge a complaint but did not. Even I could have lodged a complaint but I did not want to press charges against them keeping in view their careers."
Telling the story of his side, the young actor said, "On Sunday (May 5), I wanted to spend time with my family. My wife and me were driving out for lunch when we had to slow down near the signal on Road No. 1 in Banjara Hills. Two young men travelling in their car started clicking our pictures. In no time they were near my car window clicking away. It started getting uncomfortable."
Continuing his statement, the actor also added, "I gestured to them to move as it was getting irritable. Instead they chose to be rude which upset me. Their rude response to me and my wife prompted me to ask my security to deal with them. They were in an excited state, barefoot, and looked slightly haggard."
"If I were to behave that way, maybe I would have myself got into the ruckus rather than asking my security to deal with it," he added.
Ram Charan's bodyguards allegedly had beaten up the two techies -- Phaneesh and Kalyan. Photographs have emerged in media showing Ram Charan's guards had beaten up the duo as their came on the way of the actor's Aston Martin in the posh Banjara Hills area of the city.
Media criticised police inaction in handling the case saying the cops are not ready to take action against the son of Union Minister of State with independent charge for Ministry of Tourism.
However, defending themselves, SHO, Banjara Hills PS, P Murali Krishna was quoted as saying, "The two techies, Phaneesh and Kalyan, did come to our police station to lodge a complaint. There were a lot of media personnel too who came with them. The duo, as well as the media, related the sequence of events that took place near GVK One Mall between actor Ram Charan's bodyguards and them."
Times of India quoted Krishna as saying, "They spoke about the brawl and everything that happened there. So, we told them to give the entire incident in writing. But they (Phaneesh and Kalyan) refused to do so. See, we are here to take any complaint, but the victims, if they claim to be victims, have to give their complaint in writing. Only then can something be done."
The police official also claimed that police can not take any legal action against any citizens unless untill the victim or any eyewitness file any official complaint against the accused. The two victims earlier had claimed that police did not file any complaint against the actor when they had approached them on Sunday.
Media reports say that the duo were pressurized not to lodge any complaint against Ram Charan. According to media reports, a passerby had taken pictures in his mobile phone which clearly showed how the bodyguards had beaten the two techies up while Ram Charan was seating in his car.
However, Ram Charan overruled such allegations while asserting, "Those pictures (that appeared in newspapers) are morphed."
