Bihar Shame: Police arrested man accused of raping aunt

Patna, March 29: At a time when the entire nation is demanding better security system for women/girls against any sexual attacks, a shameful case has been reported from

's Nawada district, where a man raped his own aunt.

Police arrested the man accused of raping his aunt. The arrested man is also accused of assaulting his uncle and cousin.

The accused, identified as Manoj Yadav was arrested from Parahia village under Nadiganj police station on Friday, March 29, police informed.

Police sources say the accused raped his aunt and assaulted uncle and cousin over property dispute. The crime was committed Thursday (March 28) night. The woman has been admitted to a government hospital for medical test, a police official informed.

Police seized a pistol and 11 ammunition from Manoj's possession. Cops are currently on hunt to arrest Manoj's father Rameshwar Yadav. Senior Yadav has been named as an accused in the assault case.
