How Bitti becomes a curse for Mohanty family in Orissa

Jaipur, March 15: Bitti Mohanty has been cornered by the joint group of Kerala and Rajasthan police in connection with the seven-year-old case in which he had raped a German woman in Rajasthan. Now, it seems that he has become a curse for his family members who hail from Orissa.

Bitti's father BB Mohanty, a former Orissa DGP, now will face the grilling of Kerala police who have recently arrested Bitti. BB Mohantty earlier had suspended as he was accused of helping his son to jump parole.

Bitti had received a seven year jail term but he had jumped parole and was on run since 2006. Now, with the help of an anonymous letter, Kerala police succeeded to nail the culprit.

Initially after his arrest, Bitti confessed to the police about his real identity, however, soon he changed his statement and claimed that he is not Bitti but Raghav Rajan, an employee of State Bank of Trivancore (SBT). Raghav Rajan aka Bitti has been suspended from the bank.

Kerala police on Friday, March 15 confirmed that Bitti forged his B.Tech certificate from KIIT University in Bhubaneswar and the certificate is in the name of Raghav Rajan, the alias he used for several years while living in Kannur in Kerala.

The police official Hemender Singh, who had arrested Bitti identified him in Kerala on the basis of a scar on one of his legs. Bitti seems to have tried all possible efforts to remove all proofs pertaining to his previous life but he failed to do so.
