According to police, the actor claimed to have no information regarding the fatal incident inside his flat at Goregaon region in Mumbai. Currently, he is in Delhi shooting for his upcoming film.

26-year-old Shivprasad's body was found hanging from the ceiling in the flat. Apparently, it seems to be a case of suicide.

Neighbours of the actor on Sunday, March 3 informed the police about foul smell coming out from his flat. Shivprasad's body was discovered when the cops broke into the flat. It is suspected that he has been dead for over three days.

Following the norms regarding the Maharashtra suicide cases, Mumbai police registered a case of accidental death.

Reason behind the young servant's death have not been cleared yet. Police began investigation probing the cause.

The actor was quoted as saying, "It is very unfortunate, I am saddened by the news of my house-help committing suicide..."

"We are in process of garnering all information. All the due procedures are being observed," added Ayushmann.
