's health condition prevails as the party has not yet disclosed the cause of ailment which led her for frequent foreign trips. Mrs Gandhi on Saturday, Sep 1 once again went abroad.

Janardan Dwivedi - Congress spokesperson andAll India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary on Saturday informed that Mrs Gandhi has left for abroad for health check up and she will be back within one week.

While speaking with the media in the national capital, Mr Dwivedi said, "The Congress President has gone abroad for check-up."

Here it can be recalled that Mrs Gandhi grabbed the headlines with her mysterious surgery when she last visited US in Aug 2011. Congress did not disclose the hospital's name or any other information regarding Mrs Gandhi's diagnosis. However, reports had suggested that she was suffering from Cancer.

Earlier, Mrs Gandhi was accompanied by her son Rahul Gandhi along with daughter Priyanka Gandhi and son-in-law Robert Vadra.

Mrs Gandhi went for another check up for the second time on Feb 27, 2012 when she had faced protest in the country.

Sikh community in the US - Sikh for Justice (SFJ) protested against the Congress president and demanded her exclusion from the country.
